Imagine a warm summer evening on the terrace. The sun is slowly setting, the air is still, and you just want to hold on to that golden moment a little longer. That’s exactly why we created our large Louka candle. Hand-poured from natural soy wax into a Jesmonite bowl — available in two finishes: natural white or soft marble. Inside, seven unbleached cotton wicks provide an even, long-lasting burn.
When you choose lavender or citronella scent, the candle also acts as a natural insect repellent — perfect for keeping mosquitoes and small bugs away.
Note: The natural white shade of the bowl is the genuine color of Jesmonite material and not a paper-like pure white. It may have a soft, warm beige undertone.
After the candle burns out, you can gently wash the bowl with warm water and reuse it as a small flower pot or decorative dish.

All candles are hand-poured in South Moravia. Every stage — from pouring to packaging — is done by hand with care. Made from natural soy wax, free of toxins and harmful chemicals. Small imperfections such as bubbles or subtle color variations are part of the handmade process and make each candle one of a kind.
Composition:
- 100% soy wax (pesticide- and herbicide-free, biodegradable)
- Unbleached cotton wicks
- Fragrance blend from essential and natural oils
- Jesmonite bowl — eco-resin base
The candle bowl is made from Jesmonite — an eco-friendly, water-based mineral resin that contains no solvents or VOCs. It’s durable, safe, and environmentally responsible.
Due to the nature of Jesmonite, small air bubbles or surface texture variations may appear during production. These are natural features of the handmade process that add authenticity and charm. Each piece is unique and may differ slightly in shade or pattern from the photos.
Remember, the first burn is important — let the wax melt across the entire surface but not longer than 3 hours. Always trim the wicks to 3–5 mm before each lighting to ensure a steady flame and longer burn time.
If the wick is too long, the candle may smoke; if it’s too short, it can drown in the wax — simply adjust it gently once the candle has cooled.
All our scented candles bear labeling according to CLP legislation. Safety data sheets are available upon request.
Every consumer must comply with the safety recommendations stated on the candle packaging and on our website.
During transport, the label with safety information on the bottom of the candle may come off. Please carefully read these safety instructions.
ČSN EN 15494 (650121) specifies safety labeling for candles intended for burning in rooms.

All candles from Louky Studio are intended for legally competent adults. Louky Studio is not responsible for misuse of products and all products are used at your own risk. Some fragrant and essential oils are not suitable for pregnant and nursing women, young children, and animals.
All fragrant and essential oils are made from high-quality raw materials, have not been tested on animals, and do not contain parabens or phthalates. Essential oils used in candles and other products have all important safety data sheets – IFRA, SDS – and comply with all EU regulations.

Candles have a minimum shelf life of 2 years. Please note that the fragrance develops gradually during storage.
Candles and other products are not certified as cosmetic products under current EU law.
The candles are made from premium soy and beeswax. Waxes do not contain pesticides, herbicides, or petroleum byproducts.
