All candles are hand-poured in South Moravia. The entire process is a beautiful craft – from pouring the wax to the final packaging. The candles are made from soy wax and white beeswax, both free from toxic substances. Small imperfections, such as air bubbles or slight variations in color, may occur due to the handmade nature of production. The addition of beeswax ensures a longer burning time.

Candle composition:

• soy wax and white beeswax
• cotton wick

Before placing the candle on a metal spike, gently warm the spike with a lighter. Proper wick care is essential – always trim the wick to a length of 3–5 mm (both before the first and each subsequent burn).
Trimming the wick correctly ensures the flame remains moderate and your candle lasts longer. If the wick is too long, the candle may produce black smoke or an overly large flame. If the wick starts to sink into the wax, it means it was trimmed too short – gently push away some wax around the wick (only when the candle is unlit and cool).

Due to the natural properties of soy wax, it tends to melt more than paraffin wax, so proper burning is important. This type of candle does not have its own container – always place it in a candle holder or on a non-flammable plate before lighting. Wax may drip while burning, so please consider placement accordingly. Let the candle burn for a maximum of 3 hours at a time and avoid moving it while lit.

All our scented candles bear labeling according to CLP legislation. Safety data sheets are available upon request.

Every consumer must comply with the safety recommendations stated on the candle packaging and on our website.

During transport, the label with safety information on the bottom of the candle may come off. Please carefully read these safety instructions.

ČSN EN 15494 (650121) specifies safety labeling for candles intended for burning in rooms.

All candles from Louky Studio are intended for legally competent adults. Louky Studio is not responsible for misuse of products and all products are used at your own risk. Some fragrant and essential oils are not suitable for pregnant and nursing women, young children, and animals.

All fragrant and essential oils are made from high-quality raw materials, have not been tested on animals, and do not contain parabens or phthalates. Essential oils used in candles and other products have all important safety data sheets – IFRA, SDS – and comply with all EU regulations.

Candles and other products are PROHIBITED FOR INTERNAL USE and are not intended for CONSUMPTION!

Candles have a minimum shelf life of 2 years. Please note that the fragrance develops gradually during storage.

Candles and other products are not certified as cosmetic products under current EU law.

The candles are made from premium soy and beeswax. Waxes do not contain pesticides, herbicides, or petroleum byproducts.
