All candles are hand-poured in South Moravia. The entire process is beautiful – from pouring to final packaging. Each candle is made from soy wax that contains no toxic materials. Small imperfections such as bubbles or slight color variations may occur due to the handmade process.

Candle composition:

• 100% soy wax
• cross wooden wick made of beech
• fragrance composition from natural essential oils
• candle dye
• metal tin container

Remember that the first burn is very important. Let the candle melt all the way to the edges but not for too long (maximum 3 hours). Proper wick care ensures the flame stays moderate and the candle lasts longer.

Wooden wicks require slightly different care than cotton ones. Before each new lighting, gently remove the burnt tip of the wick with your fingers once cooled. Do not use force – breaking off too much might make the candle hard to relight.

Tips:

Wooden wicks usually take 10–20 seconds to light and may ignite only on the 2nd or 3rd try. We recommend using a lighter rather than matches.

If tunneling appears in the wax, it’s likely because the candle was extinguished too early. To fix it, wrap the candle in foil, leaving a small hole for the flame → the heat will melt the wax evenly again.

Once the candle has finished burning, give the metal tin a second life. Wash it in warm water, remove the wick, and use it as a small flower pot.

All our scented candles bear labeling according to CLP legislation. Safety data sheets are available upon request.

Every consumer must comply with the safety recommendations stated on the candle packaging and on our website.

During transport, the label with safety information on the bottom of the candle may come off. Please carefully read these safety instructions.

ČSN EN 15494 (650121) specifies safety labeling for candles intended for burning in rooms.

All candles from Louky Studio are intended for legally competent adults. Louky Studio is not responsible for misuse of products and all products are used at your own risk. Some fragrant and essential oils are not suitable for pregnant and nursing women, young children, and animals.

All fragrant and essential oils are made from high-quality raw materials, have not been tested on animals, and do not contain parabens or phthalates. Essential oils used in candles and other products have all important safety data sheets – IFRA, SDS – and comply with all EU regulations.

Candles and other products are PROHIBITED FOR INTERNAL USE and are not intended for CONSUMPTION!

Candles have a minimum shelf life of 2 years. Please note that the fragrance develops gradually during storage.

Candles and other products are not certified as cosmetic products under current EU law.

The candles are made from premium soy and beeswax. Waxes do not contain pesticides, herbicides, or petroleum byproducts.
