All candles are hand-poured in South Moravia. The entire process is beautiful from pouring the candle to the final packaging. The candles are made from a blend of soy wax and white beeswax, which contains no toxic materials. Minor imperfections, such as bubbles or color variations, may be caused by the influence of handwork.

Candle composition:

• soy wax
• white beeswax
• cotton wick
• candle dye

Wick care is absolutely essential. The wick must be trimmed to a length of 3–5 mm before every lighting (before the first use and each subsequent use).

A properly trimmed wick ensures that the flame is not too large and that the candle burns evenly and for a longer time. A wick that is too long may cause a large flame, black smoke, or excessive wax melting.

If the wick begins to “drown” in the wax, it means it has been trimmed too short. In this case, simply and carefully remove some wax around the wick (the candle must not be lit or hot).

Cylindrical candles naturally create a tunnel while burning. It is also important to understand that soy wax has a natural tendency to melt and flow more than paraffin wax.

➡️ This means that wax may drip from the candle.
➡️ Wax dripping is a natural characteristic of this type of candle.
➡️ Improper use may result in a larger amount of wax dripping.

This type of candle does not have its own container, so it must always be placed in a candle holder or on a non-flammable plate before lighting.

⚠️ Wax may drip and run from the candle, so always protect the surface on which the candle is placed.

We recommend letting the candle burn for a maximum of 3 hours and not moving it while it is burning (movement may cause uneven melting and additional wax dripping).

Before placing the candle onto a spike, gently heat the spike with a lighter to prevent damaging or cracking the candle.

Information for Consumers

All our scented candles carry labeling according to CLP legislation. The safety data sheet is available upon request.

Every consumer must adhere to the safety recommendations stated on the candle packaging and here on our website.

During transportation, it may happen that the label with safety information detaches from the bottom of the candle. Please read these safety instructions carefully as well.

ČSN EN 15494 (650121) specifies the safety labeling of candles intended for burning in rooms.

All candles from Louky Studio are intended for adults of legal age. Louky Studio is not responsible for the misuse of products, and all products are used at your own risk. Some scented and essential oils are not suitable for pregnant and nursing women, small children, and animals.

All scented and essential oils have been made from quality raw materials, have not been tested on animals, and do not contain parabens or phthalates. The essential oils used in the candles and other products have all the important safety data sheets – IFRA, SDS, and comply with all EU regulations.

Candles and other products are PROHIBITED FOR INTERNAL USE and are not intended for CONSUMPTION!

Candles have a minimum shelf life of 2 years. Please keep in mind that during storage, the fragrance develops gradually.

Candles and other products are not certified as cosmetic products according to current EU legislation.

The candles use premium soy / beeswax. The waxes do not contain pesticides, herbicides, or petroleum additives.
