Close your eyes and imagine a sunny summer day when the air smells of citrus fruits, trees rustle in the distance, and everything is full of life. That’s exactly the feeling our Citrus Orchard candle brings – a burst of energy wrapped in an elegant tin.
The scent of grapefruit and lime instantly refreshes you like a cold lemonade on a hot porch. A hint of eucalyptus adds a cooling touch that balances the sweetness of the citrus and creates a sense of purity.
The soft green wax has a calming effect while matching the bright, fresh energy of this candle. Perfect for moments when you need to recharge, clear your mind, or simply let the sunshine in – even when it’s raining. The candle is made from soy wax with a cross wooden wick.

All candles are hand-poured in South Moravia. The entire process is beautiful – from pouring to final packaging. The candles are made of soy wax that contains no toxic materials. Small imperfections, such as bubbles or slight color variations, may occur due to handcrafting.
Candle composition:
- soy and coconut wax
- cross wooden wick made of beech
- scent composition from fragrance oils certified by IFRA
- metal tin container
- candle dye
In our collection, you will find candles poured into metal containers. The wax blend used consists of 70% soy wax and 30% coconut wax. These candles feature a cross wooden wick that ensures stable burning and a pleasant crackling effect.
First burn
⚠️ The first burn of the candle is crucial for proper performance.
Allow the candle to burn until the wax on the surface melts evenly almost to the edges of the container, but do not overload it with long burning times.
⏱️ The maximum recommended duration of the first burn is 2 hours.
Burning the candle for too short a time during the first use may cause:
- uneven wax melting,
- tunneling,
- impaired performance during future burns.
Wooden wick care
Wooden wicks require different care than cotton wicks.
- The wick should be trimmed only slightly before each subsequent lighting.
-
Trimming can be done using your fingertips – grasp the cooled, burned part of the wick and gently break it off.
⚠️ Do not use force, as breaking off too large a portion of the wick may prevent the candle from being relit. Such damage cannot be accepted as a reason for a complaint.
Additional tips:
- Lighting a wooden wick may take 10–20 seconds; the wick often ignites only on the 2nd or 3rd attempt.
- We recommend using a lighter; matches are usually not sufficient.
If a tunnel forms in the wax, you most likely extinguished the candle too early. The tunnel can be fixed as follows:
- wrap the candle in aluminum foil,
- leave a small opening at the top for the flame,
- allow the candle to heat up so the wax melts evenly.
Second life of the metal container
Once the candle has burned out, you can give the metal container a second life. Simply wash it in warm water and remove any remaining wax and the wick. The container can be reused, for example, as:
- a small flower pot,
- a storage cup for office supplies,
- or a decorative container.
