All candles are hand-poured in South Moravia. The entire process is beautiful from pouring the candle to the final packaging. The candles are made from soy wax, which contains no toxic materials. Minor imperfections, such as bubbles or color variations, may be caused by the influence of handwork.

Composition of the candle:

• natural soy wax
• white beeswax
• cotton wick

Our Advent candles have decorative grooves that give them their typical appearance. Because of this intricate shape, it is necessary to consider that during burning, the wax may drip more than with a classic smooth candle, or a small crack may form at the edge, causing the wax to leak. Therefore, always place the candles on a sufficiently large non-flammable tray or plate that will catch any wax.

➡️ Wax dripping is completely normal with decorative candles.

➡️ The amount of dripping wax may be more pronounced than with classic shapes.

If you are using the candle on an Advent wreath and placing it on a metal spike, we recommend warming the spike very gently with a lighter beforehand. This way, the candle will sit more easily on the spike, reducing the risk of cracking. Never force the candle onto a cold spike, as this may disrupt its internal structure and lead to wax leaking during burning.

⚠️ Before each lighting, trim the wick to approximately 3–5 mm. Do not let the candle burn for more than 2 hours at a time. Do not handle it while it is burning and never leave it unattended.

⚠️ Always place the candle on a stable, non-flammable surface and sufficiently far away from flammable decorations, branches, fabrics, and furniture.

⚠️  Always extinguish the candle before the flame gets close to the decorations of the Advent wreath.

Information for Consumers

All our scented candles carry labeling according to CLP legislation. The safety data sheet is available upon request.

Every consumer must adhere to the safety recommendations stated on the candle packaging and here on our website.

During transportation, it may happen that the label with safety information detaches from the bottom of the candle. Please read these safety instructions carefully as well.

ČSN EN 15494 (650121) specifies the safety labeling of candles intended for burning in rooms.

All candles from Louky Studio are intended for adults of legal age. Louky Studio is not responsible for the misuse of products, and all products are used at your own risk. Some scented and essential oils are not suitable for pregnant and nursing women, small children, and animals.

All scented and essential oils have been made from quality raw materials, have not been tested on animals, and do not contain parabens or phthalates. The essential oils used in the candles and other products have all the important safety data sheets – IFRA, SDS, and comply with all EU regulations.

Candles and other products are PROHIBITED FOR INTERNAL USE and are not intended for CONSUMPTION!

Candles have a minimum shelf life of 2 years. Please keep in mind that during storage, the fragrance develops gradually.

Candles and other products are not certified as cosmetic products according to current EU legislation.

The candles use premium soy / beeswax. The waxes do not contain pesticides, herbicides, or petroleum additives.
