All candles are hand-poured in South Moravia. These candles are made entirely from pure beeswax with no added additives (no paraffin, soy wax, or fragrances). Thanks to the high density and quality of the wax, the candle burns slower and longer than regular ones, ensuring a lasting experience. By choosing beeswax, you are also supporting local Czech beekeepers.

Sometimes, a white film may appear on beeswax candles – this is called a “wax bloom” and is a natural sign of genuine beeswax. It can be easily removed by gently warming the candle or wiping it softly with a cloth. Burn time is approximately 15 hours.

Candle composition:

• 100% pure beeswax
• cotton wick

Proper wick care is essential – always trim the wick to a length of 3–5 mm (both before the first and each subsequent burn).
Trimming the wick correctly ensures the flame remains moderate and your candle lasts longer. If the wick is too long, the candle may produce black smoke or an overly large flame. If the wick starts to sink into the wax, it means it was trimmed too short – gently push away some wax around the wick (only when the candle is unlit and cool).

This type of candle does not have its own container – always place it in a candle holder or on a non-flammable plate before lighting. Wax may drip while burning, so please consider placement accordingly. Let the candle burn for a maximum of 3–4 hours at a time and avoid moving it while lit. The stated burn time is approximate and may vary.

All our scented candles bear labeling according to CLP legislation. Safety data sheets are available upon request.

Every consumer must comply with the safety recommendations stated on the candle packaging and on our website.

During transport, the label with safety information on the bottom of the candle may come off. Please carefully read these safety instructions.

ČSN EN 15494 (650121) specifies safety labeling for candles intended for burning in rooms.

All candles from Louky Studio are intended for legally competent adults. Louky Studio is not responsible for misuse of products and all products are used at your own risk. Some fragrant and essential oils are not suitable for pregnant and nursing women, young children, and animals.

All fragrant and essential oils are made from high-quality raw materials, have not been tested on animals, and do not contain parabens or phthalates. Essential oils used in candles and other products have all important safety data sheets – IFRA, SDS – and comply with all EU regulations.

Candles and other products are PROHIBITED FOR INTERNAL USE and are not intended for CONSUMPTION!

Candles have a minimum shelf life of 2 years. Please note that the fragrance develops gradually during storage.

Candles and other products are not certified as cosmetic products under current EU law.

The candles are made from premium soy and beeswax. Waxes do not contain pesticides, herbicides, or petroleum byproducts.
